Why I Trained During My off Season

Being a rookie in the National Football League is both exciting and frightening. I had an amazing season of highs, but I also knew that I had to stay on top of my game or I could easily be selling cars in a couple of years instead of playing the game that I love. When my rookie season was over, I did not sit back and just enjoy life for a few months. I knew that I needed some off season football training, and that is why I started looking for a great training center.

The National Football League is a very serious and extremely competitive field, and I wanted to make sure that I did not lose any ability in the off season. Sure, I started in a few games, and I even made a touchdown that was talked about by sportscasters, but I was still a rookie fighting for my place on the team. I knew that during the upcoming preseason, I would be fighting for my job too, and I wanted to be ready for it. That is why I chose Landow Performance, because I was impressed with all that I heard from others about this training center as well as what I saw on their website.

I liked what their typical training schedule included, from the power drills to the workouts that are designed specifically for what I do on the field. Conditioning and recovery play huge roles in this too, and I was glad that the latter was a major part of the training program. I did several months of training, and that allowed my training camp to be better than my rookie year by leaps and bounds. I knew that the coaches were impressed when I started being involved in more plays. Taking care of myself during the off season definitely helped me earn my spot once the new season began.
